St. Mary's Primary School exists to promote and educate in the Catholic Faith and to foster Christian ideals.
It is the responsibility of the Parish of St. Mary's to provide a formation of faith for all baptised children. St. Mary's Parish is committed to providing guidance and pastoral support for all its members so they may "achieve human and Christian perfection and become mature in their faith" (Religious dimensions in a Catholic School).
Criteria
1.Priority of enrolment will always be given to Catholic children of families residing within the Parish.
2.Catholic children who reside outside the Parish may be enrolled if vacancies exist.
3.Non-Catholic children may be enrolled if vacancies exist.
4.All parents are required to sign the "Conditions of Enrolment Form" section of the enrolment form.
5.Parents are to present copy of immunisation certificate with enrolment form.
Potential familes are invited to contact the office so that a school tour can be arranged.
Summary
Enrolment in a Catholic Parish Primary School is the beginning of a partnership between families, school and teachers. The education aims of the school should be an equal priority for the teachers, students and families alike, each according to his or her role, always in the Gospel spirit of freedom and love.
